  • Question: How do I recycle my used PUR products?

    Answer: We are currently working on implementing a recycling program for our PUR customers.  Please continue to check this section as we'll provide an update once details become available.

  • Question: What do I do if the light on my pitcher is out?

    Answer: If the light on your pitcher is out, hold the reset button down for at least 5 seconds.

  • Question: What if the green light on my pitcher isn't flashing after I pour?

    Answer: Hold the reset button for 5+ seconds and release when green light starts flashing

  • Question: What do I do if the lid is falling off my pitcher when pouring?

    Answer: Make sure the blue reservoir is inserted correctly. If backwards, rotate 180-degrees. Make sure there is no water in the top reservoir when pouring.

  • Question: How does the Filter Change Light work?

    Answer: The Filter Change Light  is an easy way to see when it’s time to change your filter because it measures the amount of time the filter has been in your pitcher. Be sure to reset your filter change light  every time you replace your filter.  The filter change light changes color depending on how long filter has been in use or how much water has been filtered. Filter will reach end of life at 40+ gallons or 60+ days.  The filter change light contains a non-replaceable battery. The battery will eventually stop working but the filter is still functional.

  • Question: How do I know when to replace the filter?

    Answer: After 2 months or 40 gallons. For products that have a Filter Change Light,  replace your filter when the red light on your Filter Change Light is flashing.

  • Question: How do I clean my pitcher or dispenser?

    Answer: Hand wash pitcher, lid, pour tray and removable filter cover (select models only) with mild soapy water. Rinse well.

  • Question: How do I register my PUR Pitcher/Dispenser for warranty?

    Answer: You can register your PUR product by completing the warranty form on our Product Registration page here. Be sure to have the product name or model #, place of purchase and date code.
