In his response to the question about market centers in our Gas Executives' Forum (October 1, 1994), John E. Hayes, Jr. announced that Western Resources was teaming up with Enron Gas Services Group to create the Kansas Mid-Continent Market Center. Enron bowed out of that arrangement on October 12, however, and Western Resources has assumed full responsibility for developing the market center.
